Thank you. I have only seen pictures of 2 other dolls like her and they were not in as nice a condition as mine is. She is wearing her original pajamas but I lost the pink slippers and bathrobe years ago. I've often wondered how much she is worth...not that I would ever think of selling her!

If I'm correct the eyes are a bit sunken in causing the white of her eyes to get covered as you move from side to side. Giving the illusion that the eyes follow you. This is just a simple optical illusion in my opinion.

@ASTr9fg You're right, that's how the eyes work. But...optical illusion or not...my grandkids are still freaked out by her. LOL!

Thank you! I have had her for 50 years. I got her when I was 7 years old. The black doll belonged to my Grandmothers little sister, Helen, who died of appendicitis when she was 5 yrs. old. The other doll belonged to my Aunt and the little bear belonged to my son. They are all very special to me.
