  • Great man ; )

  • Big man :D

  • I don't study Aikido myself but have had the fortune to run in to this gentleman twice. He is indeed as kind and as impressive as I had heard he was.

I found myself with some 'words of encouragement and advice' as I left after meeting him the first time.

I've lived in Japan for 11 years and studied budo for 35 years... Few famous budo-ka come across as gentlemen-like these days, but he left a lasting impression of a conduct to strive to achieve for myself.

  • He is indeed a dedicated son to his father legacy =)!! hope to meet him one day !!

  • I had the opportunity to participate in the uchi-deshi.....One of the most amazing experiences of my life. The learning never stopped. LOL even when I was cleaning mats:)

  • Thank you very much for this reply. It is always good to see someone with your attitude. I respect that.

  • I have a lot of respect for the attitude that Aikido seem to creat in people

(I don't study Aikido myself). It seems really honest and genuin (however you spell that).

Thanks, that was a really nice clip.

  • I believe there is a program where you actually apply for Iwama Uchi-Deshi training. I don't know that for certain though.

  • how do you get choosen to be an uchi deshi?
