Fantastic phrasing and technique. I did have to rewind the middle quite a few times to see what the eff you were doing your alternate picking lol, looked very uncomfy. Regardless, thats some amazing technique and schooling. I barely know a pentatonic scale and I just have fun playing covers...but wish I could do that stuff...eh..maybe someday I will learn some theory. Great playing
Yeah, my picking technique evolved naturally for me over a long period of time. It's "comfy" for me but isn't for everyone. It seems like people develop their picking in different ways. All the technical masters I see have a wide range of techniques and there doesn't seem to be any one correct way. I'll do some intro theory lessons on here soon. The pentatonic lesson, while not super advanced, isn't a good introduction to theory. It's more of an intermediate trick.
Haha...It's practicing for me too. Just not very structured practicing and I usually like to randomly twang around when I first pick up the guitar. It's cool when you come up with something different while your brain and fingers are still asleep. However, I don't think I played anything in this one that I haven't played about a billion times...haha.
