Ninja Snorlax caught the opponent from the side. Due to the wooden arena, the pusher appeared to wedge into the wood fibers, but we were declared victorious after a while of pushing. -Hans Feng
Battling Microbots: objective is to push opponent's robot out of the ring, or disable opponent's robot. First few rounds are determined in 1 match, and the rest of the rounds are best of 3 matches. The competition was structured as double-elimination, except for the first round, which was single-elimination.
Our robot = "Ninja Snorlax" because size and weight were at the maximum allowed (20cm by 20cm, and 1 kg, respectively). Also, it was extremely fast and powerful, using Roomba motors instead of the motors provided in lab. We made it to the final round, won, and placed first.
This was the final project for Cornell University's MAE 3780 (Mechatronics)
