Leading Chinese experts met in London and Oxford to discuss China, its economy, and what the Beijing government is doing to combat the affects of the present global economic downturn.

'China like most countries has been hit hard by the crisis, but the government has acted proactively with a very large stimulus programme, and there is some recent data that suggests that in certain areas like industrial production and retail sales for particular China is starting to rebound earlier than say other countries in the world, so hopefully that can provide a little bit of support for towards Global recovery.'

  • 60 years of Chinese communism - 60 million dead

  • omg, albert park and christene wong! They are both my teachers, lol!

  • Do you mean "rely"?

  • I would not worry by the low number of viewers here. This is exactly what the world is trying to do to China as China is doing the right thing and going to the right direction. This is exactly what the BBC, CNN and other big media company trying to avoid to report good thing coming out of China. China does not reply on praise by others. China replies on its own people and its own ability to build up strong country.

  • Am I the only person who watches this channel?

Most of this analysis is available elsewhere, although its always interesting to get a summary
