GRIDLOCK: PART I (2011) - [Action / War]

Independent Film made on a £200 budget. Took 3 weeks of filming and 2 weeks of editing. Now in production of Part II which should hopefully be released Spring 2012.

Britain 2021. In a society torn apart by violence and war, rebel soldiers Taylor Williams and Jack Collins must complete a deadly journey from Birmingham to Bristol to collect enemy intelligence to use to their advantage to end the civil war. During their journey they encounter many enemies, the Government Agents, and the factions sadistic and violent leader, General Evans, however they must brave through it... they are Britain's last remaining hope.

Not bad.... pretty good actually.

As with everything though... there are flaws, the two things that I noticed was the poor gun handling and the emotionless lines... it kinda felt like they were being read. Apart from that though, the colour (or lack of) really helped set the mood of the movie. If I could recommend anything, it would be to experiment with make up and costumes more, maybe put a beard or something on Rob, he was quite young looking for a general

@craigyboy94 Thanks, this is actually the sort of comments I want, constructive criticism so I know how to improve, i noticed the poor gun handling after and made a large fuss over it to my brother (even though i do it a lot)... also about rob... he's not young, just cleanly shaven :P thanks anyway craig

...omfg, that was great! really looking forward to part 2, do you have a date on it's release yet? also really good choice in soundtrack, i could hear some modern warfare in there but wasn't sure what else

@Bfastpwn67 hey mate, cheers, part 2 will be released sometime in Q1 2012, and yeah there was some modern warfare in the soundtrack along with splinter cell: conviction, mafia 2 and battlefield 3

p.s. I recommend putting "part" and "1" in the tags as I couldn't find it a second ago. The title has it as "part I"
