A video short of the Blastolene B-702 as displayed at Texaco/Havoline Goodguys West Coast Nationals. Blastolene are artists and custom car builders that like to use really big engines. They built a huge roadster for Jay Leno using a tank engine. You should check them out at www.blastolene.com. I think the B-702 shown here is actually one of these guys SMALLEST cars!

  • Amazing :D

I heard it sold at Barrett-Jackson in January for $1 million. The estimate had been $1.5 million.

Also, isn't that "Sneaky Pete" pulling in from the right in the last shot?

  • I think it sold for $475K, not $1M -- still a lot of dinero for a car. The value I think is more a reflection of the B702 as "fine art" rather than a "hotrod" IMHO. Not many paintings or sculptures you can drive around. Yes that was "Sneaky Pete" in the end.

    Thanks for watching!

  • This reminds me from old cartoons with the v-24's and just crazy cars.

  • All hand built with a rebuilt 702 CID GMC V12 from the late 1950's powering it...IIRC.

  • Holly god, that is beautiful!

  • i hate to say this but this car isnt the most eye catching on the road truly i am sorry to all the people who like this car it isnt really that wonderful really

  • these are the cars that car companies should be putting out.

  • I love how the whole time it doesn't need more acceleration than its tick over to move! Cars aren't made like that any more. It is a true sculpture of beauty.

  • Very Cool No Mater How You Slice It!

  • Looks like somebody was smoking some good Saoutchik.
