  • All depends on the amp / pickups. If you have a dark amp / humbuckers, go for the MXR, the buffer brings in highs that you loose a bit with the darkness, and fenders brightness most likely the Crucible fuzz to darken it, but they are all good. Take a look at your setup before adding a fuzz. Nothing worse than having dark and adding even more dark until the point of mud, thats not good. Maybe a dark fuzz and a treble booster aswell. Or just get the MXR with the buffer brightness.

  • Earthquaker blows the other two pedals away, imho. The MXR with buffer engaged is probably the next best. But these are fuzz pedals; The Earthquaker throws down the warmest and fuzziest of all three.

  • They should`ve auditioned the Euthymia ICBM fuzz ...to my ears the best usable fuzz.

Really high gain (of course) but very 'playable/musical'. Not squashed sounding like so many others.

  • i AM TRYING TO DECIDE BETWEEN THE tUSK AND THE tONE rEAPER PEDALS.

  • idk if its just me, but mxr sounds great but with the buffer on its fuckin orgasmic ggreat

  • The are in the right order from left to right the best being the MXR.

  • Def doesn't suck!! Puns, however, I'm a little fuzzy on.

  • They all sound great. The Tusk borders on distortion, more like some of the stuff from Devi Ever. The other two are vintage sounding.

Though I love the way it sounds, I don't think the Tusk really belongs in this comparison.

  • MXR best silicon Fuzz

    Great sound

    Great Price

    TBP!!!!!

    Buffer Switchh

    analogman

hs way better osund but... costo double as the MXR has no buffer!

    so MXR is the best...

  • Im going MXR
