You said it. A sweet song, generally dismissed. Just try to find it on ANY of the 1000's of 80's CD's out there. It's nowhere. Nobody I know remembers it. It only reached #63 on US charts. Majorly underrated and overlooked song! It's one of very few songs to make my top 5 songs of the year from a band I wasn't a fan of. Unlike almost every band, OMD got better with time. "Secret" is unbelievably pleasing to the ear and it's hard to say exactly why. I mean, there's no guitar & it doesn't need it.

OMD divided into three "eras": the post-punk era (1979 - 1984), the synthpop era (1985 - 1990) and the electropop era (1991 - 1996). I like all three, but many fans disagree. My local record store has fortunately got three of their albums (out of 12), including "Crush", but yeah, it's a shame.

gran cancion...basada en emulator y fairlight cmi 2.junk culture y crush no eran malos lp´s pero no llegaron a la maravilla de architecture o la innovacion de dazzle ships...lo mismo paso a human league dos grandes del synth pop a los que el cambio analogico a digital paso extrema factura...una pena
