Digging for Gems at the Himalaya Mine in San Diego County (near Lake Henshaw ; hwy 76)

Leah: Hi I am digging; I am digging for minerals
Dad : That's enough; take it
Laura: What about me!
Leah: We are gooing to take it. Clean up the dirt. Look what Laura is doing. Now what Laura was doing is put in water ; make sure it is clean without dirt.
Dad : put it here
Leah: Here is part of a crystal. Put it in the black bag. Laura has been looking carefully .
Dad: What should we be looking for?
Laura: Looking for crystals kind of blue, purple ; does not look like purple but when you shine it in the light it looks like purple

Note: Digging for gems is fun at the himalaya mine near Julian town. It costs 75 $ per adult. It is worth the effort and money if you spend the whole day there.
