What we see here is John reaching out to Michelle, and Michelle appears to be ignoring John. Then Barack turns to John, and John directs him to Cindy (since John & Obama had previously embraced).

The hand shake was very easy to miss because the angle of the camera was from the back of teh stage towards Brokaw at which point McCain and Obama get in the way of the Camera. They are in the way because they are shaking hands.

pkilla2222-Yup!That's exactly the way McCain has treated anyone who he thinks has done anything to him for any reason. He dissed our sheriff in Maricopa County and wouldn't even look at him when he had to meet with him once. Just turned his back on him, rather than shake his hand. And the guy is a Republican. McCain's done the same thing to hundreds of people in AZ. We've been trying to unload him for years. Anyone want a senile old senator?

Im sorry guys but McCain and Obama DID shake hands at the end of the debate, It was during the closing remarks. This video does NOT show the hand shake. You need to locate one with the closing remarks.
