2nd Floor of the Indiana Academy

I am applying to the academy, and I am SO exited, but i want to know if it is really hard when you're there, and also how well do you have to do on the SAT. Thanks, and I am really exited!!

@c1371 Depending on the classes you take, it can be either a challenging experience or incredibly difficult, but SO worth it. They usually want at least 1300 on the SAT (I think) and some good classes from your high school. Just write some really good essays too, they love that for admissions. Hope you get in! It is totally worth every late night and time spent away from home! :)

@guitarbrain666 And yes, it was SOOOO much fun! You make friends that become a part of your family. I graduated 2 years ago and I still talk to a lot of my friends from the Acad. It is a fantastic opportunity!

Aw, I applied to attend this school next year! It sounds really fun and my brother, Blake, encouraged me to try it out. : ) I am excited! When you said Megan, were you talking about Megan Meulink? If so, that's my brother's ex-girlfriend. : ) Is this school as fun as it sounds?

How hard Is itt to get into the Indiana academy.

@guitarbrain666 face checks are basically from 6:30-7 and you just have to go in to your SLC's room and be like "I'm alive" and they check your name off on a list. It isn't too bad, really. If you need to do something else, you can get "SP" or Special Permission and you don't have to be there. It is totally possible to live a "normal" life, I promise! lol! People like to over-exaggerate on how annoying it is. And no worries! Feel free to ask me any other questions you want! :)

also, what are "face checks" i read about in the student handbook...with all these curfews and stuff it makes it sound like everyday life is interrupted every few hours every day to go to some "face check" and impossible to live a normal life. is this true or are these types of things hassle-free to the student? sorry for all the questions and thanks in advance lol
