Crrection Cyprus is not a big Island and yes there are some secluded quiet beaches however in general Cyprus is bulit up for tourism far too much.Ihave been to beaches in Australia that are so remote you wouldn't see anyone for more than a wwek.eg Isrealite bay in Western Australia ,90km of cristal clear blue snow white sand beach.

@peilthetraveler its agia nappa what the hell do you expect.cyprus is a big island and there are so many beaches you could go where there are no such things.its like going to ibiza and saying it was too clubby and noisy.there are beaches in agia nappa and protaras where you could almost be alone even in high summer.get to learn the place and country fully before you moan.

People so anxious to make a buck have to go throw out 20 inflatable boats into the water and ruin the atmosphere of the area. Nothing ruins a beautiful place more than commericializing all over it.

Good point you made about commercializing this place. Nissi Beach looks amazing in winter when there are no boats, no sunbets,, and almost no tourists.
