Who said that? it's not true, if you don't use the tremolo it holds the tune great.

i agree. i have the same guitar and the only thing that would make it out of tune is the whammy bar.

I played one of these guitars today. It felt good, better than the music man Petrucci model I had just played, which was awful, it sounded good plus I think they look cool. It didn't stay in tune very well but that can be fixed. I just wish that Ibanez would make a higher end version of this style of guitar. The Andy Timmons model fits that description but it's over 2 grand.

I agree. Cheap Ernie Balls strings are very durable. I saw rust in cheap Jimmy Wess strings after day 2!!

@CommanderShepard2000 It's 250$ with a 10W amplifier, but here in Israel it cost me 370$
I don't think they still make this set, you can buy a set with a better amp and maybe a better guitar for the same price today.

what kind of strings do you use for your guitar?my ibanez has d'addario strings. what would you guys prefer?

I've tried d'addario cheap strings, and they were awful.
Now i'm using cheap Ernie Ball strings and they're great. I've also tried cheap GHS strings and they were good too.

BTW, I don't know why people say that Ernie Ball become rusty fast. I'm using the same set for 3 months and they are fine.
