This beautiful gospel song was not on YouTube yet so I decided to upload it. The lyrics are in the description. The song can be bought from Itunes or Sierra Hull's CD "Secrets". All rights to Sierra Hull, Highway 111, Rounder Records, D.B. Towner, John Sammis et al. I own nothing. Enjoy!

When we walk with the Lord
in the light of his word,
what a glory he sheds on our way!
While we do his good will,
he abides with us still,
and with all who will trust and obey.

Trust and obey, for there's no other way
to be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey.

Then in fellowship sweet we will sit at His feet.
Or well walk by His side in the way.
What He says we will do, where He sends we will go;
Never fear, only trust and obey.

Trust and obey, for there's no other way
to be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey.

  • thanks for sharing, i love this song!

  • @saburke2001 you're welcome!

  • Thanx for sharing this wonderful 'hymn', we've sung it since we were kids, of course, in Portuguese, we are from Brazil...it is beautiful and blessing in any language...God bless you!

  • @MrJunette God bless you too! Unfortunately, Sierra's version was the first one I was exposed to a couple years ago. Shame, eh? I have some friends who could probably sing it in Tagalog or another Filipino dialect. All three versions would be amazing!

  • is there a karaoke version?

  • @shelzbffz Not that I know of, sorry.

  • Thank you so much for posting this! When She started to sing, I teared up it's so beautiful!

  • Thank you for singing this wonderful hymn. In our small church in Boulder, CO we used to sing this song at baptisms and we repeated the chorus everytime a person being baptized was lifted up out of the water.

  • I recall as a child hearing our small congregation sing this in 4 part harmony and with great feeling. The feeling was a result of living the words of the song and having a connection with the Holy Spirit that provided the strength to trust and obey.

  • magtiwala at tayo'y sumunod - tagalog

  • Thanks for the good and inspiring rendition.
