I don't agree with Jamal Bryant. Smoking and still anointed, cursing and still anointed, R&B and still anointed.The Bible says put a difference between clean and unclean ,holy and unholy. When I was a sinner I smoked, cursed, and R&B. It got to be a difference between a sinner and a christian. The outside of you should change just like the inside of you.

The gifts of the Lord are given without repentance, but the annoiting is not. You have to meet the requirements of the Lord before you receive the annoiting.

vicsneeze Rev.Dr. Jamal Bryant said sometimes which mean not all the time. The anointing is ones gift/calling. For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable (Rom. 11:29). Though we have frailties He doesn't take away our gift/calling. Since becoming saved/born again Christians we have all miss the mark. This is where mercy and grace steps in. There is a difference in practicing sin and coming short of Gods glory. He's encouraging us to repent get back up fulfill our destiny.

Vicsneeze, I see where you are coming from, and firstborn3223, I feel you as well. Many imperfect people, you and me included, God gives enough grace to carry out His plans. Flawed as we are, there is a point though, where we won't go any further with God riding on grace alone. Because the Word says people will cry out all they did in His name, but He never knew them. We can all be used to fulfill God's will on earth, but there's a point where we truly have to give our lives.

what a message what a messge, vicsneeze i dont really think you feel the way you in which say you feel becasue if you do there a plenty of men throughou the bible that did wrong yet were still anointed, Moses murderer, David and Solomon couldnt let women go, Noah a drunk and plenty others but lets bring it up to todays standards. Dr King was anointed to open the door for blacks yet he smoked. There only one thats perfect Jesus or savior. We all come up short @ times lets let God b the judge
