@personthatwatchestv because he created the dark gundam, and was accused having a desire to use it to conquer the world, so was kyoji, but kyoji runs away with the dark gundam, just look up schwartz bruder's death(or something along the lines), theres a scene that explains everything, and its on youtube

It's heart-wrenching, to be honest... after several months of searching, he finally finds a sympathetic soul other than his mechanic/friend. It shows how fragile Domon actually was, I believe, and helps the viewer to connect with him better.
You'd never see Sasgay do this, and this is why Sunrise rules where Kishimoto fails. -_-;
