AW always showed scenes. In the 70's, they'd actually tape a scene with no one talking, just, say, Rachel or Gwen sitting there thinking over a cup of coffee or the like. In the 80's, they went to scenes from that day's episode. I'd love to see this opening start and end as it does & have scenes in middle (though I think 2 vs 3 worlds would be great & would tie in with the old announcement that went something like "we live in another world" or somesuch). And that was Irna's intent--2nd ATWT's.

Anybody heard of the announcer, Bill Wolff? He was with the show from its 1964 debut until 1987.

i liked this show from the 80's to the mid 90's but it got boring and i missed the last year but it was a fave of mine all through the 80's

Love this video. I was a huge fan of AW in the 80s in High school and college. I love this theme song, It's better than the one Crystal Gayle did.

I see you have Laura Bell Bundy listed in the closing credits as playing Ali. I never watched the show in the final years. Was Laura made up or was she really in AW??? I am a HUGE fan of hers and have seen her in everything she has done on broadway. It's too bad she is leaving Legally Blonde. I hope she does well on her new CD.

I love this particular theme from the 80's. I also like your effect of the 3 globes "interlocking" like the original rings from the main title. Nice touch.
