In Defense of Invideo Ads

I know that much of the community resents advertising. Especially since it's shared with only select people via Partners program (I'd be ticked too if I wasn't in it, and I am indebted to you, viewers, for getting me in).

That being said, I personally think the model of "InVideo Ads" (in which a brief banner appears in the bottom 20% of the screen, then vanishes) strikes a nice balance. It's more prominent than a banner, so marketers will like it. And it's less obnoxious than a friggin' preroll.

What do you think?

Does anyone know how to get Invideo videos on your page? I've searched all over YouTube and I can't figure out how to make it so a viewer of my music videos can download the mp3 from one of my distributors such as ITunes or Amazon. Please advise.

Ok no seriously, Why? "To make youtube some money" Why? Do you seriously think that a multi-billion dollar company needs to gain MORE profit from something? Is 100million dollars a year not good enough for youtube? I mean. They own their own servers. They own their own connection. This stuff isnt exactly out of pocket to them. They have a HUGE income. Why would they screw up OUR videos by putting ads over them? Even if they are easy to click off. It still distracts me from what I am watching.
