Oh my god. Heard it on A Camp's album first, then found out it was a cover, so I looked it up and didn't expect to like it. But WOAH! This is beautiful. Got goosebumps. I actually prefer this version over the album version.

For those who would like to hear some excellent and colorful interpretations of Daniel Johnston's songs I heartily recommend Kathy McCarty's "Dead Dog's Eyeball." Her powerfully straight-arrow singing and imaginative band arrangements fully flesh-out Johnston's songs, not altering a note of the great melodies. For those haters, or those just "on the fence" about his shaky voice and extreme low-fi approach, trust me on this. It's hard to find these days, consult your local record shop.

He is ruined from the anti psychotics. Almost all of them over time will cause parkinson like symptoms and massive weight gain.
