  • Great video. Do you know where i can go to get hi-performance stuff for my ebike? I have a 1000W BLDC rear wheel 26"MTB with a 48v 20AH LiFepo4 Batt. I only get 28MPH W/out pedaling. I would like to get more MPH. How do i do that?

  • I would get a 36v lifepo4 pack and add in series .. you will love the extra power!! If you looking for a modded controller let me know i could help you out!

  • yadda, yadda, yadda, let's see it in action. all talk, no action. i could say mine runs as fast as a jet...show us what it can do. thumbs down.

  • Have you seen the regenerative braking system that you can buy on ebay? It can help to save your brakes and will charge the batteries at the same time

  • I am already @ 48v and not ready to change them. I would like to modify my controller. How do i modify my controller to get more top speed?

  • Your AC rated breaker may be able to trip on DC too, however DC specific breakers are heavier duty because it is more difficult to interrupt DC than AC (DC can arc more vigorously and form a weld across the contacts, so high current DC specific equipment will have internal arc suppression).

Apparently the Square D model QO breakers are rated for 120v AC and 48v DC, per the wind-sun forum thread t=2665 called "AC vs DC Panels and Breakers".

  • Circuit breakers usually do not trip on short term overloads. If they did, they'd be triggered everytime a heavy motor or compressor was turned on, like the central air conditioning unit or a big window AC.

  • What's the sticker on the breaker say? You should be able to tell whether it's AC or DC by the terminology they use.
