A demonstration of n-body physics with all calculations happening on the graphics card, implemented in OpenCL. This is a demo from NVIDIA, and is running on my (rather old) GeForce 8600 GT card, so it should be a lot faster on more modern machines.

The details of how I installed everything required to run this (inluding download links for the source code) are here: http://www.gilesthomas.com/?p=226

  • @gilesthomas great tutorial site! it reminds me of the hard time when i first time to try to get the GLSL works...... by the way, I'v tried to do the cloth calculation on GLSL with buffer pin-poning way, and it ran smoothly, and I was using 8800GT at that time... maybe you can try a bit : )
