This is a demo of a G&L ASAT classic which I bought new in 2009.
To give you a good impression of the tones of the guitar I only used one clean setting on my amp in the whole demo. The amp is a Vox Valvetronix AD30VT, all the EQ setting where flat (all in the middle position). The selected amp model was a black 2x12.
Yes the G&L ASATs are great. I have a 1991-92 ASAT Classic Leo Fender Commemorative; they were supposed to make 1000 of them (guitars & basses) but Fender threatened to sue when they discovered that Leo's signature was on the upper bout & the bridge plate. Apparently only 350 (guitars & basses) were manufactured which is a bummer because they are exceptionally beautiful instruments. Good for me as it makes mine [s/n #17] very rare. The MFD pups are great but I prefer the spank of the stock teles

Really nice demo, beautiful guitar. I have a Tribute that looks a lot like that one, except for a tortoise pickguard.

I have watched hundreds of these demos and yours is far and away the most useful and informative of them all. You let the instrument and your excellent musicianship do all the talking. Thank you for doing this.
