For a home music studio, i have a basic room in the basement, with plain drywall and cement floor. I want it to be so that when i am recording, no music can be heard outside the room, or upstairs through the roof. would this product do the trick?

Audimute Sound Absorption Sheets will cancel the BOUNCE almost completely. Double layer of this product may be needed for high sound pressure level applications such as drums, a band, large speakers, etc. It depends on many factors.

The best thing is to start with a single layer and then give a listen where things are at. With this approach, you won't over purchase for the sound solution if single layer will take care of things acoustically for you.

I need to soundproof my garage. I have a couple of machines I use in my business that make noise that can be heard outside. I would describe the noise as a loud knock on wood. The other noise would be an exhaust fan that is hooked up to one of my machines and sounds like an idling car.

Would the Absorption sheets take care of my problem?

Typically a two car garage will need 16 to 24 sheets. The more area covered, the better. Peacemaker, another product we manufacture for low frequency isolation, may also come into play, but only in about 25% of our garage projects, usually to insulate thin doors, drywall, floors, and more There are many tricks of the trade I can help with should you wish to give a call. alright thanks we (as in me my friends and band mates) are going to be saving up for a garage kit of the sound proofing sheets and give them a try if we can raise the money but thats gonna take a while haha
