Nora learning how to drive her powerchair - Goodentree.com

Nora has (2 1/2 years old) been practicing with her new $26,000 powerchair and she's slowly making progress with stopping and starting. We need a new interface (joystick) because I don't think the current buttons are the best for her. Anyway, practice makes perfect.
Nora has Spinal Muscular Atrophy which is a terminal genetic disease that impacts the muscles of the body making them weak and unusable. Nora is so weak she even lost her ability to swallow. SMA is the number one genetic Killer of infants. We fight against SMA each day in the hope that we can give Nora the best possible life and that someday there may be a cure. @davidmitrevski I wish their was. Unless there is a cure in the next few months when realistically it's probably about 5 years away. Believe me, as her father it's the most horrible thing - I scream - I cannot do anything to fix her. We came to the realization about two months ago that she may be too far gone to ever bring back even with a cure. It hurts more then you could ever possibly know. Thanks for your understanding

@FrEnzie2012 she loves it. She still plays it almost every day. Its takes a while to find apps that she can use since she is so much weaker now. Thank you for your interest
