yes but designers like him, more creative ones, refreshing ones, influence the "wearable designers" and in a sense almost control fashion as they lead it. even though this one is still considerably commercial.

Fashion shows aen't always there so that people will watch them and then want to go buy their clothes, fashion is art. A dress is just like a painting. Everyone has different tastes. The dresses aren't ugly, they're art.

If what they did wasn't "valuable" to many people, they wouldn't be so well-paid. Even if I don't agree with all that the fashion world "offers" us, it is mean to denegrate all the women who model for us. When I make clothes I want them to be modeled well, and for people to feel beautiful when they wear them. There is definitely a place for well-made clothes and beautiful people wearing them. Plus "regular people" modelling as well.
