Thanks for this. Strangely enough, when I tried to do this I felt that my arms had been stretched to the limit while my legs were still bent. I tried grabbing my heels in my fingers, rather than my whole hands, but I still have the same problem. Is it just me, or do others have the same problem when they start? Thanks.

There can be tension or tightness in either the shoulder, arm, hip, or hamstring. Try to feel what the limitation is, and stretch that by itself. Then retry this exercise. If it improved, you got the right muscle group!
