I apologize for not consulting you before posting. I have made a terrible mistake. In the future I will make sure I clear my song selection with you. I do hope you will forgive me!

  • I want to thank you because you are the only user who put on youtube a clear demonstration of the Atari Video Music without a voiceless ultra low fi 8 bit piece of music, but with a warm and voiceful song.

Maybe it is just a coincidence, but the video output seems to respond with more "warmth" and more "color" than usual

  • Thank you for the lovely insight. This song is one of my favorites. It sounds great and has a message as well. "I will take the road less traveled. I will turn my life around". I am an audio engineer so quality counts with me. I have had this video up for about a year and have gotten the usual wild variety of responses, but yours was such a delight. Thank you. And BTW- It is still for sale. Make me an offer

  • What a really cool, old-school piece of electronics. What a really dull, lame-ass turd of a song.

  • @SPICESMUGGLER71

I think your comment says more about you then it does about the song....

  • what is your asking price and location?

  • @somatt I am in Maryland. I am asking $225.

  • this was totally unknown to me (console or how do you call it? never seen one in europe), veeeery nice (also the song fits well),

    thx for loading

  • For those interested, Devo used one of these in the video for "The Day My Baby Gave Me A Surprise" (circa 1979).

  • @SPICESMUGGLER71

I almost agreed with you at first (though I would probably choose a more tactful way to say it if I were to say anything about it at all) but the song actually grew on me and although it wouldn't have been my first choice it's kind of refreshing to see a video for something like this that isn't 8 bit or synth music, though I have nothing against those types of music at all.

  • Meh didn't like the song, but who cares, its your own personal taste. It really demonstrated this incredible piece of technology. Actually, it seems pretty seizure inducing, haha.

  • Retro terrific! Too bad I didn't buy it from you. "RF out" only really sucks, of course, but there are adaptors ;-) Forget the YouTube "haters" about the song - this thing was built to use with ANY style of music, and that's what you are doing with it.

  • @Ponimaju: So whose rule is that? Yours? Never heard of it. The song I chose for the demo is not important. Although a number of folks have commented that they really like it. If you scroll thru the comments you will find that I did identify the song in response to a request.

  • song is "the wyrd sisters - everything and more" i believe. definitely violated the cardinal rule of video uploading by not telling people what the song is in your description

  • I'll bet this thing was absolutely a trip in 1976. Having grown up in the 70's I'm trying to imagine back to that perspective.

  • If you love stuff like this download winamp and use the milkdrop plugin

  • I want one! Girls must go crazy over a guy with one of those.
