Swing Low was the original, written down by Wallis Willis around the early to mid 1800's; Swing Down was a sort of variation of the tune and lyrics popularized in the 1940's. After Elvis performed Swing Down it became increasingly popular to combine both tunes like in Beyonce's and B.B. King's versions. In any case, the lyrics in the description are for Swing Low and do not match the words sung in the video here.

@Eivyll Swing down sweet chariot is actually part of (swing low). Just found out, at least in Beyonce's version.
