And what's really pathetic is that whenever cops are caught for doing something heinous, no one ever gets punished except the citizens who have to pay for their inevitable lawsuit losses.

I get the feeling that a lot of cops join the force for the same masculinity-amping reinforcement that people join gangs over. Except it's legal (hence "moral") to be a cop. And it's one big fraternity. They ALWAYS cover each other's back. Even when they engage in the most criminal, unlawful behavior, they ALWAYS cover it up. Even their supervisors cover it up. It's only when they're caught on tape or someone outside the web whistle-blows that you ever hear any truth.

Back in my day of being an idiot police officers did not carry tasers and if they did I'm sure I probably would've have been one of the Top 10 most tased people by law enforcement. I think that taser's a good tool for law enforcement. The problem is like what just happened here or people are tased multiple times or being tased when there is not a threat to the officer. I believe that most use them with discretion and there is always that few who don't which gives them all a bad name.

@rangersct it was unecessary force. the cop only suffered a bruised thigh. i don't agree with what he did but he is just a kid, he was scared and tried to run.he deserves jail but not to be shot from behind. there is procedure for this and cops arent supposed to shoot a fleeing suspect unless he is in the act of assault. they acted out of anger not procedure. they are violent overzealous pigs who want to shoot somebody so they can look like badass heroes on the news. fucking nazis
