Using the 8x8 Conference Bridge

You can easily set up a conference bridge for up to 20 callers using your IP phone.

CREATE A CONFERENCE CALL
To create or schedule a conference call, dial 556. Then press 2 and enter your extension number followed by the # key.

Then, enter your password -- the same number that you use to access your voicemail -- followed by the # key. You will have 3 options:
• Press 1 to create a conference that expires in two weeks.
• Press 2 to create a non-expiring conference
• Or, press 3 to create a conference with a custom expiration date

After you make your selection, you will hear your conference ID number (which will also be emailed to you). You can then share the conference details with your participants.

JOIN A CONFERENCE CALL
To join a scheduled Conference call, dial 556. Then press 1 and enter the conference ID number, followed by the # key.

To conduct conference calls that include outside callers, you'll need to set up your Auto Attendant so that one of the caller's choices includes joining the conference bridge (for example "Press 5 to join the Conference Bridge"); or you can obtain a direct dial in number by ordering an 8x8 Virtual Number. You can set this up through your online account or call 8x8 support for assistance.
