Sydney Jacobs has a spinal cord injury (paraplegia). Here she shows some tips and techniques for transferring from wheelchair to bed and also gives some tips on how to move around in bed once you're in.
@dubbedcrazy That's absolutely right and a key point. When you're learning an adjustable height bed (or at least one roughly matched to chair) can be an absolute godsend.
In the ideal world we will always be transferring from 'slightly high' to 'slightly lower'.
Nice video. Thanks for sharing. I'm a C 5-6 quadriplegic. Would be great if you could share with us on our social network. google "pushrim" you will see "life after injury". Hope to see u there. Take care :)
