alternative to "hdd" and "power" leds in PC

how it works:

power off: blue led on
power on, hdd off: green led on
power on, hdd on: only red led on

only one led is on at given time. it was achieved thanks to logical gates.

the device simply connected to existing leds via optocouplers and the power is supplied by USB (always on, even when PC is shut down)
