http://www.filmscoreclicktrack.com Beautiful main title sequence from HOWARDS END (1992), featuring Richard Robbins's Oscar-nominated film score (and a little Percy Grainger to boot).

  • if anyone needs to know the name of the piano piece at the top of the movie that Vanessa Redgrave swoops over the lawn outside her beloved Howards End...it is... called A Bridal Lullaby - by Percy Grainger...absolutely sublime piece , matched well with this scene..... LOVE IT... thank you Merchant Ivory Productions....exquisite!

  • Amazing theme.... love the light, the way her gown brushes over the lawn, the muffled voices of the family in the drawing room, the birds at sunset, the way she takes in that moment of time... when all in her life seems so right. Just another classic by Merchant & Ivory... all time favourite - of course we need to thank Mr. E.M.Forster for his classic take on Class structure, and struggle as well as human relationships.

  • My favorite movie of all time. I am obsessed with this film and don't fully understand why. Maybe it satisfies some sense of JUSTICE existing in the world. And, of course, it is so very beautiful in every way. I'd like to TO LIVE in this film.

  • I especially like the sound of the distant "nightingale" at 1:03 and 2:40
