  • First of the Hundreds of Thousands suggestion: Dont die.

  • Poor Kiko, what did you ever do in your life to deserve this?

The only thing to make this worse is if they threw in a couple of pain elementals in the mix.

    I'm sure you'd love that.

  • @iovandrake Agreed. I finished Plutonia last night (meh), moving on to the Master Levels, which I haven't played yet, hopefully they're good...

  • @NIMHFS Yeah I mean just take a look at most of the levels in Evilution. They are packed with elevators, hidden doors, and surprise encounters. Literally tightly woven levels full of crap. The levels also tend to have been crafted with more of a purpose behind them (other than just being a Doom level). Where as Plutonia tends to generally either have wider areas (not counting Hunted) populated by blandly thrown hordes. Evilution is just a bit more interesting to play through to me.

  • @iovandrake I'd have to agree. I'm near the end of Plutonia and beat Evilution last week (it's been a while since I played either) and I enjoyed Evilution more. Plutonia has too much emphasis on being challenging and not on being interesting and fun to play. Don't get me wrong, it's fun, but I just enjoy big maps and dispatching 10 enemies with a single shotgun blast more than shooting at the same Archvile or Pain Elemental over and over while getting mowed down by chaingunners...

  • @NIMHFS Plutonia is overrated in comparison to Evilution. People prefer it over Evilution because they all have a group mentality. They hear "Evilution sucks, Plutiona is better" and mindlessly parrot the same crap. If you evaluate them both Evilution has a lot more intricately designed levels than Plutionia. Plutonia just overuses Archviles which most old school doomers have a hardon for there being 50 archviles in every level of a wad.

  • I'm not sure why people hate on Evilution... it offers a decent challenge in some places, most of the levels are well designed, at least aesthetically...

I'm 4 hours in to my play through and have like 4 levels left :(

Can't wait to move on to Plutonia though :D

  • @Metaldane actually took place in ancient japan

  • @amazingred09 some Duke Nukem would be awesome

  • @MrYaotubo Yea, I die a lot on multiplayer on co-op as well. I prefer playing single player in this game and I'm really good at this game. I'm doing some testing on my PVC lately, next test will be adding my dialog (you know, adding my real voice while I'm playing a game). I'll test that later. I hope it works...

  • @Gamerguy4721 The thing that really bummed me was the fact that one coudnt occupy the same space on super mario bros wii co op. I played with my friends and due to them pushing me, we died more to eachotehr then the levels. If they made super mario bros wii with proper co op mechanics and online mode it would be great. And there are many people that expects faceroll = points in the multiplayer community. Sadly good players are often the ones that get accused of cheating.

  • @MrYaotubo See, would this be a good Idea?
