His cancer was not Cured. The comics clearly state that he is in constant pain by his healing factor and cancer fighting it out. That is way it is grotesque as hell without the mask. Everytime he heals an area on his body the cancer starts killing it over and over again. The pain is what causes a level on his insanity.

What's with people saying that there shouldn't be complaint about Deadpool because this is the movie, and not the comic? There should be complaint because this movie was supposed to be an Origin story. Why would they completely screw a character up in an origin story? They could have very easily used an actual Wolverine villain.

Yes, they introduced Deadpool without any of his high points (weird eccentricities, odd gadgets, enormous amount of guns, and most importantly his wit). Just giving him a f***-ton of powers and taking away his ability to talk by definition makes him NOT Deadpool. Sure hope they ignore this movie if they do a Deadpool movie.
