The Broadway show at the Hirschfeld Theater starring David Hyde-Pierce was a hoot. Written by Rupert Holmes (of The Pina Colada Song fame, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, Accomplice, etc.) with music by Kander and Ebb (Cabaret, Chicago, Kiss of the Spider Woman, etc.). This is our lame little review made right after seeing the show May 5, 2007. It was enjoyable.

  • Yes, the best word for CURTAINS is *entertaining*. I have seen the show five times and every time I've seen it I've sat and grinned for 2 1/2 hours. Some don't find the score very memorable, but I think the cast album holds up very well. And the cast is superb all across the board.

  • I dunno--maybe i'm just a little paranoid.

  • They loved it... didn't you get that? Yes, agreed the score was great! David Hyde Pierce too!

  • You guys need to grow up. The score was so cute and so was David Hyde Pierce!!!
