Posted the bug report here-
http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/630736-18-shader-bug/
Replacing the torches fixes the problem, but I shouldn't have to do that.

A video exercise to get the video and audio quality worked out as well as try out some different file formats and a new video Editing Software I found called Photostage Slideshow Producer (now in the preset "PS3 HD 1080" 1080p .mp4 at 29.97fps or TV NTSC).
FREE- NOT A TRIAL- 100% FREE

This thing has some great features that every video creator needs, and its simple and easy to use.

What I had to do to make this video is to do a one time through with the basic video gameplay audio and mic commentary, then go through and just do the video and game audio and try to time it properly so I can go back through once again with just my mic and splice the mic audio from the commentary onto the original video, and it makes it feel much more natural and on the spot. I was having the problem when recording that the game audio drowns out the mic audio even though I have the game audio down and the mic up so this is how to get around that problem.

I'll probably be doing COMPLETE tutorials in the future on how to make and install skins, texturepacks, mods, server plugins as well as recording and editing video for single and multi-player..

Let me know in the comments.
Thanks, I hope you enjoyed the video.

  • Torches have bad lighting too...I liked 1.7's atmosphere a lot better :(

The night doesn't even look scary anymore.

I know what you mean. I think the time it takes to go to 0 should be 3 days or so- it goes down so fast when you are fighting its not even funny.

  • @SamuelMMJ it heals slowly compared to the original food eating method so I think it's fine, but the food depleting bar can be quiet annoying when you ONLY want to build houses atm.

  • @419chris419

Oh and please please please be more realistic about eating food- sure make it take time to eat but you can't run and eat at the same time?! GRRRR

  • @419chris419

The food bar needs work, yeah, I think it heals you way too fast. Either make it give half the heals immediately and then the rest over time or get rid of it- its annoying.

I agree, I haven't played hardly at all- I just want the updates to be over...every time there is an update I have to start over its just ridiculous. I haven't really had time to play but still, I would have made time. I have been going to college and working on a surprise texture pack.

Yeah notch should remove the brightness adjustment meter and just default it in the middle and make lighting go farther.
