U.S. President George Bush used his final speech before the United Nations General Assembly to call on the world body to unite against the global threat of terrorism. Mr. Bush said extremism poses a serious threat to emerging democracies such as Iraq and Afghanistan, whose new governments he said need the world's support. VOA's Robert Raffaele has more.
