Correction, its not a new technic.
The subliminar video advertizing was first used according to my movie teacher in 1950 in the USA. Soon after it was banned by law.
I am not sure how the law lookes at it now.
but in my opinion it passing messages directlky to your mind by passing the conciouse, it is like using back door, or the key under the door mat.
