Zac Shavrick sculpts a dragon. This ten foot long by eight foot tall dragon was made in about three weeks with hundreds of hours of work, all condensed into one minute of high-speed stop motion madness set to spanish guitar played by Al Dimeola. The sculpture has brake lights (off an old school bus) for eyes, a red spotlight in the mouth, and a green one in the body which makes him glow fiercely at night. This creature was created as a commission for Sullivan County Treasurer Ira Cohen and now resides in his back yard. More pictures at http://zacmax.blogspot.com and www.zacmax.com

  • WOW COOL More people should see this.

Question. How many Hours did that take?

  • Hard to say, it was done over the course of three weeks working steadily, but I didn't clock the hours.

  • Nice did you cut all those squares to fit or did you use scraps? did you hammer them?

  • It's all scraps and I had to hammer the majority of them, especially in the smaller areas.

  • bad ass, can I put a link to this video on my next one? This is great and it should have more views.

  • sure, link it wherever you like.
