Cold easterly winds swept into the UK at the start of February 2009, bringing heavy snow. The worst affected area in the whole UK was a narrow slice of south London and north Surrey. Perhaps worst affected of all was the small area around the town of Leatherhead, where over a foot of snow fell. This video shows the build up to the heavy snow through the night and is part 1 in the series.

Breath Taking!! The way it just piled on top of everything. There must have been no wind what-so-ever.
It's hard to believe that it was filmed in the Uk yet alone near London.

You was so lucky to get so much snow, we didn't get as much as that in Norfolk, where abouts was this?

What's the song that you've used on this video? It sounded like Sigur Ros from the start, at least that's what I thought.
