You should also install "Back in Time" it's like Time Machine but for Linux... It's very handy.

One suggestion, install global menu. It makes your computer REALLY a mac, cuz the top toolbar to all the windows in on the top menu. Hard to explain.... just look at a mac with a window running and look at the top left.
