David Sanborn (born July 30, 1945) is an American alto saxophonist. Though Sanborn has worked in many genres, his solo recordings typically blend jazz with instrumental pop and R&B.[1] He released his first solo album Taking Off in 1975, but has been playing the saxophone since before he was in high school.
One of the most commercially successful American saxophonists to earn prominence since the 1980s, Sanborn is often identified with radio-friendly smooth jazz. However, Sanborn has expressed a disinclination for both the genre itself and his association with it.

  • When my tour of duty was over in the U.S. Air Force and I was on my way back home, this is the song I listened to over and over again on the bus to help me relax, feel good about myself and adjust back to civilian life. God, I love this song! Thanks.

  • thank you so much this was my healing music when I was going through emotional unrest, hadn't heard it in a very long time still love it.still sounds so victorious.

  • Hey folks, just want to draw your attention to the three turd heads who dislike this song. These are what republicans look like. They have no taste in music. They believe that sex should only be engaged in the missionary position (with domesticated animals). Hey, you know what they call a farmer with a pig under one arm and a sheep under the other? Bisexual. That sure sounds like Newt Gingrich."Sheeps, don't fail me now!"

  • When Harrison Ford went to “Blue Parrott” to look for the wife who disappeared in movie "Frantic", I remember that I was able to drift.

  • Makes me think of the old 'Chicago Underground' on WBMX 102.7 FM..Sunday Night from 10pm to 6am...NON stop jazz in the mid 70s..

  • Thanks for sharing this.

  • He hit us hard with this one!!
