After completing the opening barge & Marina missions, Act 2 of Far Cry 2 is now wide open. We have our choice of doing faction missions, assassination missions, weapon shop missions, etc. I chose to do a faction mission first to get the underground missions available so I can do one of those and get some malaria meds which are about to run out. (You have to do at least one faction mission in Act 2 before the underground missions become available.)

when you're in the armory at the start of the vid there are guns all over the floor. How does that happen?

When you pick up new guns, the one you have gets dropped on the floor. If you do it often enough, you get a pile of guns on the floor.

yo slacks i looked up far cry2 and apperentley you get a milaria every 30-40 mins of real time

again it comes down to loadouts. I've completed FC2 with the silenced Makarov/MP5 and dart rifle. Aside from some issues completing subverted missions ( the part where you rescue at the end I've had no problems doing 100% completion

@TheD2JBug In my opinion the dart rifle is SHIT. Sure, it's a good sniper rifle when your main weapon is a assault rifle, but it jams. A LOT.

@d3athfr0mab0v3 Kinda depends on your loadout choices . You can pick the M-79 for those missions. If you're doing an assassination or convoy mission and don't have them , you aren't planning.well enough, And a rifle bullet through a drivers head stops a truck solid

Personally , my favourite sniper rifle is actually the Dart Rifle. You can take down enemies without alerting their friends.

10 rounds in the clip=less reloading.

AS50 is better against vehicles , but rarely do you need to take out a truck with a rifle
