Part 2 of the deep cascades expedition. In this part you can hear a brief, unedited clip of the animal sounds recorded on June 17th 2010 at approx 6am Pacific Time. You can draw your own conclusions about the origin of the animals. We estimate there are at least two animals vocalizing in this clip.

  • This topic has been brought up in the research community and it's potential is unknown. Does bigfoot watch campers as they set up? Do they know you're setting up camera's? Some say yes, others no. We try to be as stealthy as possible, but with the amount of equipment we have, it's not easy. Thanks!

  • Great Vid!! Yall Two Are funny!! It Helps To Have Fun TOO!! Did Yall ever Get the Audio of the two Primates Up On Here?? Thanks Jenny

  • Coyote mum with pup. We rescued a pup when I was younger and those were the same sounds she made (the higher pitched). She ran away when she got old enough to fend for herself, but spotted her coming around a lot for a few years. She went native pretty quick. Would not approach us, even though we had raised and fed her as a pup. My only thoughts would be to go in a little more stealthy, they will know you are there either way but might get closer to investigate you if you make it more natural.

  • I spend alot of time in the Cascades back country and I'd say it likely a fox,but also Bobcats and Mountain Lion are capable of deep growls, barks and chimp like sounds as well as the 'cat' noises you think of. This just doesnt sound like the 'depth of pitch' that a large creature with a large body would generate.I'm not a skeptic-but a realist.I did have an experience out by the Sultan River I cannot explain-a huge round boulder came flying out of nowhere while walking on a flat forested plateau

  • you have a good view and have a good setup here i would love to be in the mountains tc you guys

  • Maybe hobits

  • Sounds canine to me; probably a coyote, but possibly a fox.

  • i think you guys are doin great work but those are coyotes.....sorry boys.

  • could be coyote it sounds canine in nature if you listen closely

  • Do you ever try to just make out your just camping with friends using a stealthy camera/audio setup maybe not advertise your intentons so much. just a thought. thanks
