On June 14th, 2011, Kalu Yala welcomed social entrepreneurs and sibling duo, Journey of Action, in Panama as they made a 24 hour pit-stop before continuing their tour through Central America and South America --producing "short form documentaries on Generation Y Change-Makers."
Kassidy and Ryan Brown (JOA) met with our Biology, Business, Community Outreach, Design/Build, Education, and Outdoor Recreation Interns of Summer 2011. We took them on a vibrant tour of Panama -- from our bustling city headquarters to the quaint streets of San Miguel and finally, to our jungle frontier. Friends were made and ideas exchanged.

Kalu Yala's growing Intern Program brings students and young professionals from around the world to Panama to set their own course of work that they believe will contribute to the creation of the world's highest quality of living. Interns not only bring passion, they also bring cutting edge ideas and resources to Kalu Yala. These resources include engaging their peers, parents, and professors to support them in this unique opportunity to make a dramatic impact over the course of two to three months.
I'll admit that I skipped around in the video, but what is the point?
