  • The woman has no idea what she is talking about. She is obviously not an educated person. The ship is a VOC ship, so was sailing to the East-Indies. WIC ships sailed to the Windies. The Dutch are well aware of their MINOR part in the Atlantic slave-trade. If you are genuinely interested(not just an angry black person) take a course on migration-history at the University of Amsterdam or, even better, at Leiden University.

  • Well im Dutch and i say we never would have giving up slavery, 700 slaves on ships like that shipping from west africa to the caribean. The slaves who got sick or wasnt productive enough went overboard, the rest been sold to america, and we became so rich we throw shit overboard becuse we had tomany. Those where the glory days, which i was alive in those days.

  • interesting fact about slavery....anyway, ur in amsterdam dude, u gotta check out some of the local "coffee shops".

    Hint: they don't sell coffee...if u get my drift.lol
