No On Question 4 Commercial: Doorbell
Aired: 9/30/09
TABOR is back again. We rejected it in 2004, we rejected it in 2006, and now it's banging on our door for the 3rd time. It will hurt Maine families, schools, and health care. Worst of all, it threatens our history of local control.

  • So "aicnalib," Let me guess...

What branch of the government do you work for?

    Or are you already retired...?

Or maybe just a union guy, a "community organizer?

    Or a lifetime Welfare recipient?

Maybe you work for a private company with huge government contracts?

OK then - if not any of those... you're with a non-profit "social services agency," which means you're even more overpaid than most state employees?

Because those are the only people dim enough to oppose TABOR!!!!

  • Vote No on 4!

    Protect the parasites!

  • What right wing nonsense you are spouting. And playing the "ACORN Card" in Maine? How silly and what a LIE !

I suggest you try some sources of information beyond the crazies like Beck, Limbaugh, and FoxNoise. Maine has bi-partisanly balanced our budget with hundreds of millions in cuts. The STUPID TABOR SCHEME would crush our local economies and seriously damage our quality of life. Yes, it is a STUPID SCHEME designed to enrich the rich and screw everyone else. Plain and simple.

  • This video is RIGHT ON ! In Maine we have rejected this FOOLISH right wing scheme twice, and yet the greedy, corporate-owned Maine Heritage Policy Center (an offshoot of the right wing National Heritage Foundation) continues to push this nonsense designed to gut critical public services so the corporate rich can get richer. They have tried this in other states too, and have been defeated time and again. Only Colorado did it, and it was such a disaster they suspended it. It WILL lose again!

  • PAID FOR BY "Citizens United United For Maine's Future"?

    Yeah, right!

How about being HONEST - and saying this is paid for by State Employee Union Dues, Out-of-State Money, ACORN and Companies with HUGE state contracts... who see NO reason to EVER control state spending in Maine?

Higher TAXES don't matter when you live off the government!
