What could it be? Observe the inverse square law in action as we start 23' away from the source and close in, foot by foot.

  • LOL. i was tryin to guess. good one. wow freaky levels even from 23' away the level was a little elevated

  • I probably should redo this video with my other scintillator (with an analog meter). The problem with the PM1703M is it tries to statistically determine the level, so it's a bit slow to update and bounces around a bit.

  • You should measure a microwave oven!

  • Seeing as microwave ovens do not emit any ionizing radiation, that would be rather pointless and a good way to destroy expensive equipment.
